Bonspiels 2024-2025

• "The "Sal" Ladies Bonspiel – November 5, 2024. Held in loving memory of Sally Alton, this fun-filled spiel kicked off the new season with two games and a gourmet lunch. This year's winners were Jeanette Cournoyer, Joan Brown, Paula Buck and Dianne Moore. Presenting the trophy was our sponsor Melissa Surerus-Fife, Sales Representative for Royal LePage ProAlliance Reality. A huge thank you went out to Melissa for her generous support! 
• Kawartha League (Mens) Bonspiel – November 6, 2024. Overall winner was the Ounpuu team from Peterborough Curling Club; second was the Roy Team from Cobourg.
• Farmers Bonspiel – December 6, 2024. Congratulations to the overall winners – the Rick Barnard team. Contact Ken McCulloch at 705-761-8228 for further information.
• Kurl 4 Kids Bonspiel – December 14, 2024. This year's Kurl 4 Kids was an overwhelming success! In all the years this bonspiel has been running, there have never been so many food donations. Kudos to everyone who participated! And congratulations go out to the winners – the Colleen Smith team. 
• Perfect Pairing Ice, Cheese & Wine – January 18, 2025. Campbellford Memorial Hospital hosted a fabulous day of curling, including a silent auction and a fabulous lunch and dinner, with wine and cheese pairings. Funds raised help support many needed initiatives for the Hospital. Congratulations to the winning team consisting of Roy and Val Przybilla and Ron and Lorna Watson. 
• Little Rocks/Bantam Bonspiel – February 8, 2025. Eight Bantam and six Little Rock teams competed, coming from Campbellford, Quinte, Peterborough, Tweed, Trenton and Brighton. Congratulations to the Quinte Bantam and Tweed Little Rock winners! 
• Ladies Valentine Spiel – February 11, 2025. This great day included a fabulous lunch that was catered by well-dressed men! Overall winners were the 1st draw team of Deb McCarthy, Laura Ingram, Pam Vandesteeg and Jenn Dryburgh. 2nd draw winners were Jeanette Cournoyer, Sheilda Owens, Joan Brown and Charlotte Hastings. 
• "Albert Stadke" Boomer Bonspiel – February 20, 2025. A great day with lots of laughs in this inaugaural spiel. Winners were: first place team of Rob Fife, Heather Holtby, Jill Stewart and Gary McCarthy; second place was Barb Hobart, Tom Brooke, Kim Blake and Robert Fowler; and third place was  Rudy Samoy, Denise Kelsey, Carol Johnston and Don Wedderspoon. 
• Sturling Bonspiel – March 14/15, 2025. Aspira is, once again, sponsored! Winners were: First overall, Dave Martz and Bob Hemming; 2nd overall, Sophie Wowk and Jeanne Maxwell; 3rd – Robert Fowler and Paul McClelland; 4th – Randy Fife and Ed Stapley; 5th –Jeanette Cournoyer and Charlotte Hastings; and 6th – a tie between Jill Stewart/Glenda Tanner and Barb Hobart/Sheilda Owens.
