Try Curling Now
Curling is a sport that anyone can learn, whether you are 18 or 80. At the beginning of each curling season, the Club offers a free opportunity to come out and see what the game of curling is all about in our Try Curling Now program to give it a try in a 2-hour session with on-ice instructors! There were many participants in last year's program, with many participants signing up for our Learn to Curl program (see below). This year's Try Curling Now is on Sunday, October 18, 2026, from 10-12noon. Come on out and check out the sport!
Adult Learn to Curl
In our Adult Learn to Curl program, our instructors will teach you sliding, delivery of the rock, stick delivery, sweeping, game etiquette and strategy. No equipment is needed. Just bring warm clothing and a clean pair of indoor runners. We supply everything else.
New curlers receive six weekly sessions of two hours which begin October 25 from 10-12noon and run until November 29. The cost was $100, including HST. If you like the game, enjoy the camaraderie and decide to become a member, that $100 fee is reduced from your membership fees.
Youth Curling
Youth interested in pursuing their interest in curling are welcome to join our Youth Curling Program beginning in November.
Youth (8+) curlers must wear CSA approved protective headgear such as a hard shell hockey helmet or ski board helmet. Bike helmets do not provide sufficient protection and are not permitted.
